Knee Pain

The risk of knee injury increases dramatically if there is any instability or misalignment.

Knees bear our full weight when we’re standing, with extra force when we run, jump, twist, go up and down stairs, kick a ball or carve around a tennis court or down a ski slope. Knee pain is also known to be a common complication of weight gain.

The knee joint is one of the largest and complex joints in the body. Soft tissue injuries can occur to one or more of the major ligaments as a result of activities described above and osteoarthritis of this joint often sets in as we age. Biomechanical dysfunction typically occurs due to muscular imbalances and this can cause our knees to pop or crack.
